He played many splendid knocks which makes him a world number one cricketer. Virat made the highest number of centuries among all the active (who are currently playing) cricketers around the world and is in second place after Sachin Tendulkar in all-time players.

  • 183 runs against Pakistan( which is the highest score of Kohli in ODI.) in the big tournament Asia Cup 2012.

  • In the 2023 Asia Cup, Virat Kohli made a century(122*) against the main rivals Pakistan. With the help of this century, India made a total of 356 runs and won the match by a huge 228-run margin.

  • He made 7 double centuries in the Test format of cricket out of his total of 29 centuries.

  • In 2019 he made 254* against South Africa(the highest individual score of Kohli in test format) which made the Indian total 601 runs and resulted in India winning.

  • In 2016 he scored 235 runs against England’s bowling attack and helped win India by an innings and 36 runs.

  • He made 25,000-plus runs in international cricket after Sachin Tendulkar.

Whenever Kohli makes centuries in the ODI most of the time India wins the match. Only( out of 47) seven times India lost the match and on a single occasion, the match resulted in a tie. 

As a captain of the team in test matches made three centuries in three consecutive innings.
