Epic Books

What kinds of books are on Epic?

As we mentioned, the Epic Books reading app has access to well over 40, 000 titles, making it very wide compared to many players out there. Aimed at ages 2-12, an excellent mix of fiction and non-fiction pictures and chapter books is available. Generally speaking, the books are of high quality and cover various topics, from adventure and sports to history and fantasy, and there’s even an extensive collection of STEM-related titles for kids to enjoy.

What are the best Epic features?

Epic uses reading levels and age signs as ways to help find titles for students to read. This not only helps in the location of work, by teachers but also in tracking student progress through the variable levels. Since this is a digital platform, access to the content is simple both on separate devices, in class, remotely, and on a smart screen. The class can read along together by putting the book on a big screen.

Student Features in Epic Books

Let’s begin with the setup. They can directly customize their reading profile by indicating their age and interests. This individualizes their main page with appropriate text to match. Once the setup is comprehensive, your students can get reading. As they explore the app, they earn achievements that allow them to unlock customizations to their profile.

My students ask me if this is a highlight of the app for them. This is especially helpful when they read or listen to longer texts that they would like to revisit during a future Epic session, or when they have a title.

What Is Epic Live?

Every Wednesday and Friday starting March 27, 20-minute Epic Live episodes will air at 4 p.m. ET on the Epic for Kids Facebook page, but episodes will be available to watch later should you miss the live watching. According to a press issue, each episode will meet children at their level and provide them with a chance to explore at home, without begging you for attention and materials.

They get a secret class they love you and get a break you need. Among our visitant teachers are best-selling authors, Tony award victors, chefs, scientists, Epic master teachers, and more. Covering topics from graphic novels to art, science, and more, there will be something every child will love watching while you enjoy 20 minutes of peace.
