It has been 23 years since Ginger, Rocky, and a plethora of chickens made their daring escape from the chicken farm run by Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy. Luckily, they safely landed on their slender little feet.
Their current residence is an island situated in the center of a river. The surroundings are filled with vibrant greenery. They are undisturbed by anyone seeking their eggs or plotting to use them in pot pies. In their charming little huts, they work together to cultivate the land, planting seeds, crushing berries, and reaping the harvest. Remarkably, there is not a single axe in sight.
Ginger and her American rooster partner, Rocky, are experiencing an incredibly joyful life. Recently, they welcomed their daughter Molly into the world. Molly is an absolutely adorable chick, although she tends to be a bit too daring for her own safety. She constantly climbs the tallest tree on the island, gazing towards the horizon. But one day, Molly finally catches sight of something. There is now a newly constructed road on the mainland. And guess what the little chicken sees zooming down the road? Yes, a van!
